We’ve been privileged to have several open-ended contracts with various military bases since 1995: including Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point (Havelock, NC); Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune (Jacksonville, NC); the Department of Defense Domestic Dependent Elementary and Secondary Schools (DODEA/DDESS) and Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) Mid-Atlantic.

We have been part of several design/build teams, completing projects at MCB Camp Lejeune and Seymour Johnson Air Force Base. We have also served as a small business partner of large design firms at several military installations.

Our tasks under these contracts often begin with only general descriptions of functions required, qualities to incorporate, and elements to include—we take that information and develop a detailed scope and cost estimate before any work begins. Investigative field work, including the documentation of existing conditions through drawings and photography, is an inherent part of this detailed process.
